Slow-turning dynamic mixers for large volumes
The mixer is driven by an electrical drive equipped with a reduction box. Here as well, different propeller shapes are available with two, three or four blades, depending on the application. This series is suitable for tanks from 180 m3 to 1,500 m3.
These mixers are designed for high efficiency with large volume basins and therefore have a favourable energy consumption. We can divide this series into three groups.
Widely applicable mixers
These mixers are universally applicable with the exception of the flocculation process. The drives have an installed power of 0.37 to 37 kW. Depending on the version, the propeller diameters are available from Ø 900 to 3,500 mm. The standard shaft length has a maximum of 6 meters. Longer shaft lengths are available on request.
Mixers specially for denitrification processes
The mixers are designed for denitrification processes where sedimentation must be prevented. The drives have an installed power of 0.55 to 15 kW. The propellers have three blades and are available in diameters from Ø 1,600 to 3,400 mm. The shaft length can vary from 1,900 to 5,100 mm.
Mixers specially for flocculation processes
These mixers are equipped with a propeller with two blades, specially developed for flocculation processes. The mixers can be divided into mixers for flocculation applications of (secondary) processes where large liquid flows are present and flocculation processes of (primary) processes for surface water. The installed power of the drive is from 0.55 to 4 kW. The propeller diameters vary from Ø 1,400 to 3,000 mm. The mixers for primary processes can be equipped with an integrated frequency converter, which makes variable speed possible.
